17:49 just had my living room cleaned by a Roomba. Need to tidy up the bedroom a bit and then I'll set him loose in there next!
17:50 Apparently the mat in front of my front door is too dark, he thinks it's a hole in the floor and avoids it. Need to get a more colorful one
17:52 I also need to block him from entering the kitchen w/ a virtual wall, he got stuck in there as the divider between the two rooms is too tall
19:18 Let the Roomba loose in my bedroom. I've just assembled an Ikea nightstand so there's plenty of sawdust in there for him to clean
19:26 is there anything Ikea can't make out of particle board and wooden dowels?
19:55 a bit of googling says I can cover the cliff sensors w/ printer paper and Roomba will clean my black mat. No stairs in my apartment.
19:56 tomorrow I'll set up the lighthouses / virtual walls and see if I can get it to clean my whole apartment in one go!

16:25 had to remove pulseaudio to get audio working in MythTV on Ubuntu 9.10. Looks like XvMC works now too, HD video is watchable again!
